History
This is the third release of our tiny batch Anfore Fiano. Inspired by her trip to Campania in November 2022 and the incredibly textural wines she tasted, Corrina wanted to experiment with aging Fiano on lees for longer than current market demand has allowed! After the success of the 2023 and 2024 vintage, the stage was set for 2025. Again, the best batch of 2025 Fiano has been aged for a year in three 300L TAVA terracotta anfore. This is the result.

Wine & Vintage
The 2025 harvest started very early with a dry and consistently warm growing season. These conditions perfectly suit Fiano with its heat tolerance and lovely high natural acidity.
Aroma
Preserved lemon, ripe peach, dried apple and a little chamomile, with hints of dried thyme, beeswax and sun-warmed granite. There’s something wonderfully savoury lurking underneath it all.
Palate
The texture is the star of the show. Creamy and salt-kissed, but with a crack of fresh acidity keeping everything dancing. Think lemon pith, peach, custard apple, almond and lemon barley water, with layers of leesy, herbal complexity and a gentle green-tea tannin. Long, savoury and ridiculously moreish. Aged in terracotta on lees and absolutely worth slowing down for. Pour alongside a slow-roasted shoulder of pork with baked apples and settle in.

Reviews
"From 2004-planted estate vines, with the most coiled parcel selected; 12 months in 300L terracotta amphorae; regular stirring and full mlf. The third release, and more aligned with the '24 than the ’23. The nose is very intense, with both fruit and herbal notes; nothing green, more aromatic, spicy. Something akin to Thai basil, with the heady aromatics infused with anise; also a mature mint note. Within dwells lime curd, preserved lemon, ripening mango, meadow flowers, grapefruit pith, makrut lime and stony mineral echoes. This is the most harmonious release for me, with intensity of flavour and matter allied with laser-like definition and energy. It’s a serious wine."
