Taste the classics, alongside a seasonal selection of our more eclectic grape varieties. All in our impressive, newly renovated, Cellar Door. Choose between our cosy heritage worker’s cottage and our breathtaking new deck, putting you right in the vineyard.

In the Icons of the Vale tasting we explore why the region of McLaren Vale was built on the back of grape varieties Shiraz and Grenache, from the very first settlers, including William Oliver in 1839. Initially prized for their ability to make fortified wine, McLaren Vale has since made these varieties its own, producing increasingly exciting and diverse versions of these “Icons of the Vale”.

Explore one of Australia’s oldest family run vineyards on the Taranga Terroir Tour, glass in hand, tasting each variety next to the very vines that source them. ‘Ollie’ the Golf Buggy awaits for this exclusive vineyard tour where you will learn about the Oliver family through the generations, the heritage sites, sustainable viticulture, impeccable wines and most importantly have some serious fun!

Buon Appetito! A lunch of truly Italian proportions for Tasting Australia 2025.
Oliver’s Taranga are partnering with longtime friends the Clappis family at ‘Our Place’ in Willunga to host an authentic Italian feast.
Highlighting their amazing, handmade Italian cuisine, famed in the region, alongside the Italian grape varietals we pride ourselves on here at Oliver’s Taranga, to make a truly indulgent long lunch.

SOLD OUTFIRESIDE PARTY – 22 JUNE
Fire up this June with Oliver’s Taranga for our Fireside Party, a four-course long lunch cooked over the flame. There will be fire pits, smokers and flame-grilled meats paired with Oliver’s Taranga’s classic red wines to warm you from the inside out. Dress warm and get ready for some winter fun!
